This role offers:
- Face-to-Face Interpreting
- Telephone Interpreting
- Video Interpreting
- Translation Services
Please note that this is a self-employed position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide interpreting services for clients utilizing legal, healthcare, and local government services.
- Ensure understanding of non-English speakers after each interpretation.
- Perform conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Act as a liaison between service users and providers.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
- Aged 21 years or older.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
- Community Interpreting qualification
- Registration with NRPSI, CIOL, or ITI is advantageous
- A degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages
- Any other relevant interpreting qualification
