Qualifications:0 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience in a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or similar editing software is essential. Knowledge of utilizing Adobe Premiere Edit Software, Diamond Logger, ENPS, and other editing programs. A deep passion for and understanding of baseball and hockey is required. Flexibility to work on-site with a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate process improvement capabilities. Must possess tact, diplomacy, decisiveness, and exceptional interpersonal skills required in a live television setting. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, along with manual dexterity and visual/auditory acuity necessary for production tasks.

About the job

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Highlight Supervisor to produce and edit video elements for all MLB-owned platforms, including NHL Network. This includes creating Voice Overs (VOs), Sound On Tape (SOTs), and promotional Teases.
Generate in-game and full game recap highlights for MLBN, NHLN, and MLB Digital, Streaming, and Social platforms, along with writing shot sheets for on-air Talent.
Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives for MLB/MLB Network and NHL/NHL Network by producing promotional content and sales reels.
Assist in various projects for third-party clients, including MILB, Little League World Series, and Amazon Coast to Coast.
Manage and coordinate tasks within the MLB Network / NHL Network Logging Department, including overseeing Commercial Ad Insertion for MLB. TV.
Provide production assistance across various areas as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
