Note: This is a self-employed position.
The Role
As an interpreter, your responsibility will be to listen, comprehend, and accurately reproduce content from the original 'source' language into the 'target' language with utmost precision.
You will:
- Interpret for clients utilizing legal, health, and local government services.
- Ensure non-English speakers understand after each statement.
- Engage in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Act as a liaison between service users and service providers.
