At Language Empire, we are urgently seeking freelance interpreters to support various sectors, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. With over two decades of experience since our establishment in 2001, we pride ourselves on delivering professional interpreting and translation services across the UK, covering a wide range of languages and dialects. - Face-to-Face Interpreters
- Telephone Interpreters

Please note this is a self-employed position.
The Role
As an interpreter, your responsibilities will include listening, understanding, and accurately translating spoken content from the source language to the target language. Your duties will encompass:
- Interpreting for individuals accessing legal, health, and local government services
- Verifying the understanding of non-English speakers after each statement
- Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information with discretion
- Facilitating communication between service users and service providers
