Mindrift seeks freelance n8n Workflow Developers to support the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/). This remote, part-time contract is open to candidates based in Austria. The role centers on designing and refining automation workflows that combine AI with human input.
Role overview
As an AI Pilot, the main focus is building and improving automation workflows within self-hosted n8n environments. Projects involve integrating multiple systems and developing scalable pipelines that support AI-powered solutions. Flexibility is built in, making this a good fit for experienced workflow specialists who want to contribute on their own schedule.
What you will do
- Design, build, and assess advanced workflows in self-hosted n8n setups
- Develop integrations to connect various systems and automate pipelines
- Create and enhance AI-driven workflows, such as content generation and data enrichment
- Set up and maintain automations for lead generation, outreach, and data processing
- Implement web scraping workflows for reliable data extraction
- Optimize workflow execution, manage node sequencing, and improve error handling to reduce failures, delays, and API timeouts
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, workflow development, integrations, or software development
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with n8n, especially in self-hosted environments and workflow orchestration
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage complex automation systems across different tools and platforms
- Strong background in API integrations, webhooks, and synchronizing data between systems
Compensation
Contributors on this project can earn up to $60 per hour, depending on expertise and pace of contribution. Actual rates may vary based on project complexity and required skill set.
