Please note that participation is project-based and does not entail permanent employment.Opportunity OverviewEach project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be involved in tasks such as:Designing original computational statistics problems that reflect real mathematical research workflows;Creating Python programming challenges utilizing libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy;Ensuring problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes;Generating problems that require complex reasoning in fields like number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;Formulating challenges based on genuine research issues or practical applications in mathematics;Validating solutions using Python with standard mathematical libraries;Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct solutions.QualificationsThis role is perfect for statistics professionals with experience in Python who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideal candidates will possess:A degree in Statistics or a related field;Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, or SciPy is also valuable;Over 2 years of professional experience in applied work, research, or teaching;Strong written English skills (C1+ proficiency);Professional certifications such as CMME, SAS Certifications, or CAP and involvement in international or applied projects are advantageous.How It WorksApply → Pass qualifications → Join a project → Complete tasks → Get compensatedProject Time ExpectationsFor this project, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project needs.
