Role Overview
As a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you will leverage your practical experience to create realistic disruption scenarios, establish expected outcomes and mitigation strategies, and assess the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
While each project presents unique challenges, your contributions may include:
- Crafting realistic supply chain disruption scenarios (e.g., supplier delays, changes in quantity, logistics challenges, quality failures) based on genuine manufacturing and procurement experiences.
- Establishing expected outcomes and developing suitable mitigation strategies for each scenario.
- Evaluating AI-generated responses against practical business logic.
- Assessing outputs for accuracy, completeness, and relevance within ERP environments, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba (SAP).
- Assisting in structured data creation and validation tasks according to established guidelines and frameworks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement workflows, including purchase orders, vendor management, inventory, and production planning.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Demonstrated capacity to design and analyze supply chain disruption scenarios and corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Solid understanding of various types of disruptions, including delays, shortages, quality issues, and logistics challenges.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and transportation/logistics management.
- Knowledge of BOM structures and production planning processes.
- Experience using supplier performance metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality scores).
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate AI outputs against real-world business logic.
- Prior involvement in data validation, structured data entry, or annotation tasks.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.

Project Time Commitment
During active project phases, tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week, depending on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $60 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.
