We are on the lookout for a French Canadian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join a long-term and on-site project in Austin, Texas.
In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the production of high-quality French Canadian content, ensuring that it resonates naturally, accurately, and is meticulously polished for the end users. You will focus on reviewing and refining localized content to ensure it is error-free, smooth, and culturally appropriate. Your tasks will include checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and contextual accuracy.
Your responsibilities will extend to hands-on product testing, executing test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting issues through our internal bug-tracking systems. After resolutions are implemented, you will help verify that the fixes are effective. Occasionally, you will also have the chance to translate content from English to French (Canada). Moreover, you will assess user interfaces to find localization or functional issues, playing a crucial role in delivering a seamless and user-friendly experience.
