Qualifications:
Exceptional written communication skills in English
3 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering
Expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with familiarity in Java, C#, or Go
Experience in backend or full-stack development within production environments
Proficient with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing
Ability to effectively debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases
Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and executing production migrations
Engagement: This role is part-time and project-based, focusing on expert evaluations.
Work Type: Fully Remote
As a contributor, you will design and assess realistic software engineering tasks, which include bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation. Responsibilities entail crafting complex coding tasks and reviewing peer submissions for quality and accuracy.
This is a consulting role where you will be compensated on a per-project basis, with hourly rates reflective of expected completion time. You will have control over your schedule, utilize your own tools, and may concurrently provide services to other clients, subject to their policies.

Create and execute multi-file coding assignments covering bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, and testing
Draft clear, natural language specifications alongside reference implementations
Develop and enhance unit and integration test suites
Critique peer-generated tasks for correctness, clarity, and realism
Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential points of failure
Ensure that specifications, code, and expected outputs align correctly
