The ideal candidate will hold an engineering or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Embedded Systems. You should possess robust knowledge of automotive networks, especially CAN and LIN, complemented by strong analytical abilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving. This role demands effective communication skills in both French and English, a solid grasp of the V-cycle development process, and a deep understanding of automotive constraints. Familiarity with software development for embedded systems and microcontrollers. Proficient understanding of automotive networks (especially CAN and LIN). Knowledge of the V-cycle development process. Experience within the automotive sector. Understanding of power supply lifecycle phases (including +BAT, +CAN, APC, CPC). Familiarity with ISO26262 and AUTOSAR standards. Experience with Agile methodology and SCRUM practices.

About the job

As a Functional Architect specializing in Embedded Systems at ALTEN, you will play a crucial role in project development. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Designing a symbolic functional architecture tailored for specific functionalities.
Developing messaging protocols as required.
Assigning functions to Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
Mapping data flows within networks.
Documenting lifecycle phases and power supply requirements.
Updating deliverables such as TFD, EEAD, DCI, and ALLOCATION.
