Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer on Google Cloud Platform. Strong integration skills within an AGILE team, requiring good listening, communication, and cooperation. Analytical and synthesis capabilities. Excellent writing skills. Knowledge of retail is a plus (sales/back office merchandise/back office supply chain/marketing).

As a GCP Data Engineer at SQLI, you will be an integral part of our data management team. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of various technical modules that support the data platform for our projects.
- Integrating external data sources such as files, web service calls, or consuming TOPIC (Webmethod universal messenger and Kafka).
- Configuration management using Terraform.
- Managing SFTP servers.
- Implementing IAM security measures.
- Administering a specific HTML/Java portal.
- Building data ELT/KPI pipelines using SQL.
Managing the platform's operational aspects:
- Monitoring daily processing and troubleshooting anomalies.
- Performance tracking.
- Managing technology obsolescence.
- Conducting technological watch & roadmap tracking.
