Walmart is seeking dedicated General Maintenance Technicians to join our team! As a vital contributor to our operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and performing preventative maintenance on various commercial equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our Walmart stores. Your role will involve developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes, and providing training to Store Associates on the proper care and cleaning of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct minor repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
Perform routine maintenance to maintain safety standards and ensure optimal functionality.
Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules, documenting all necessary written and electronic information such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, and maintenance logs.
