Master Works is hiring a Generative AI Engineer in Riyadh to bridge the gap between research and production. The focus is on turning creative concepts into working AI prototypes and early-stage products. This role centers on rapid prototyping and feasibility testing with large language models, multimodal systems, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent-based techniques. Many projects require bilingual (Arabic/English) solutions in data, analytics, and intelligence.
What you will do
- Develop generative AI prototypes and proofs of concept, moving ideas to functional demos using modern LLM APIs, open-source models, and prototyping tools.
- Design and build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embedding creation, vector storage, and retrieval orchestration.
- Create agentic systems that automate complex tasks through tool or function calling, planning, and multi-step reasoning. Integrate these agents with internal APIs, databases, and external services.
- Engineer prompts, system instructions, and output schemas. Continuously improve prompt design through measurable evaluation.
- Add multimodal AI capabilities, text, vision, speech (STT/TTS), and document understanding, into full AI pipelines.
- Set up and manage evaluation frameworks such as offline benchmarks, LLM-as-judge, and golden-set regression testing to monitor quality, accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Adapt and fine-tune open-source models (LoRA, QLoRA, or full fine-tuning) for proprietary or domain-specific needs, with a focus on Arabic-language applications.
- Apply responsible AI practices: safety filtering, hallucination mitigation, prompt-injection defense, PII handling, and bias awareness, especially for sensitive or regulated use cases.
- Transfer mature prototypes to production engineering teams, supplying documentation, evaluation results, deployment notes, and migration guidance.
- Present prototypes and AI capabilities to internal stakeholders and clients, clearly explaining technical concepts, limitations, and risks to non-technical audiences.
- Monitor advancements in generative AI, models, tools, and providers, recommending adoption when they offer clear benefits.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and software engineering teams to define and deliver AI features that create real user value.
