About the job

What you will do

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators. Tasks include replacing parts or full systems and completing maintenance or upgrades during off-peak periods.
Perform routine checks and maintenance to keep generators ready for use. Read and interpret blueprints and design specifications for installation or repair work.
Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other generator components. Test installations to confirm proper function.
Respond to power or generator alarms as they occur. Remain available for on-call support at any hour, handling communications by phone and email.
Work safely around hazards such as heights, electrical risks, moving objects, and traffic. Use safety equipment, follow safety protocols, and participate in all required safety and training meetings.

Note: Responsibilities may shift based on business or client needs.
