Your Role:
If you are a talented and driven Generator Technician eager to advance your career in a fast-paced telecom environment, Pearce Services is the place for you! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers within your region. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy travel and the challenge of a rewarding technical career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, diagnose and address issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and conduct additional upgrades or maintenance on seasonal equipment.
- Execute performance checks and routine maintenance on generators to ensure operational readiness, interpreting blueprints or design specifications for installations or repairs.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other components, testing for proper functionality.
- Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; availability for on-call duty 24/7 is required with timely responses to assigned communications.
- Work with an awareness of potential hazards associated with power supply equipment installation and maintenance, such as falls, electric shock, and other safety risks; adhere to safety practices and participate in all designated safety and training meetings.
