Join us at Ashoka, a globally recognized organization dedicated to social impact and positive change. We are seeking a passionate Global Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations.

As the Global Controller, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborate closely with them to oversee accounting, finance, reporting, and financial compliance activities throughout the organization.

You will manage the Accounting team at the organizational level, work alongside regional finance managers, and coordinate with the Payroll Supervisor and an outsourced Finance/Accounting support team. Your role will involve close collaboration with Ashoka Finance peers and the senior leadership team, while assisting the CFO with financial operations.

Your responsibilities will include oversight of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable/grants administration, payroll, and the Netsuite Analyst. You will ensure the organization has robust systems and procedures to support effective program implementation and maintain clean audits.

This pivotal role aims to streamline finance and accounting procedures, fostering continuous improvement in how the finance function supports program operations. You will work alongside the Global Finance Capacity Strategist to enhance financial capacity building for teams at various levels.

In this role, you will have the chance to build lasting partnerships with the CFO, senior leadership, and colleagues in Talent, Legal, and IT, enhancing the integration of Finance, HR, Legal, and IT functions.
