GNC ENGINEER II/SENIOR GNC ENGINEER I - MISSION FORMULATION
Join Rocket Lab's Global Headquarters in Long Beach, CA, as a GNC Engineer II/Senior GNC Engineer I specializing in Mission Formulation. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) design, modeling, analysis, and testing for our cutting-edge launches and missions. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to transform innovative launch and mission concepts into reality.
As a member of the Mission Formulation team, you will conduct trade studies, perform preliminary and final mission analyses, and define and implement detailed designs for Rocket Lab's launch programs. Your expertise will be instrumental in the formulation and execution of launches for classified missions utilizing HASTE and Electron launch vehicles.
Your success in this role will be measured by the depth of your knowledge and experience in launch vehicle design, your ability to independently contribute to projects, your collaborative spirit with other teams, and your skill in prioritizing competing demands.
