Elmhurst University invites outstanding candidates to apply for a graduate assistantship within the Softball program for the academic years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. This opportunity is designed for students who wish to develop their skills in a competitive intercollegiate athletics environment.
Applicants must submit an application for admission into a qualifying graduate program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies and gain acceptance prior to being considered for this assistantship.
Graduate assistants may receive a full tuition waiver in exchange for providing 20 hours of service weekly. In addition, a bi-weekly stipend will be awarded to support students throughout their academic journey. The role will require participation during the Fall and Spring terms, with potential obligations during January and/or Summer terms.
Eligible Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, M. A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Tuition Waiver: Full
Stipend: $5,625 per academic year ($625 per month from September to May).
Terms: Fall 2026, January 2027, and Spring 2027; renewable for the 2027-2028 academic year.
Assistantship Summary
The Graduate Assistant will support the Head Coach in various operational aspects of a competitive intercollegiate softball program. This role involves understanding the impact of NCAA and Division III athletics on education and assisting in the recruitment of student-athletes who will embody the values of Elmhurst University.
Special Notes
Acceptance into the aforementioned graduate programs is a prerequisite for this position. Graduate assistants are required to maintain full-time enrollment in their respective programs to retain their assistantship.
