Elmhurst University is excited to invite applications for a Graduate Assistantship within our Tennis Program for the academic years 2026-2027, with the potential for renewal in 2027-2028. This role is designed for students who aspire to enhance their academic and professional journey while contributing to our athletic department. Candidates must submit an application for admission to a graduate program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies and gain acceptance before being considered for this assistantship.
Graduate Assistants will receive a full tuition waiver in exchange for 20 hours of weekly service, along with a bi-weekly stipend to support their educational endeavors. The assistantship is active during the Fall and Spring semesters, with possible participation required in January and/or Summer terms.
Eligible Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, M. A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Weekly Commitment: 20 hours
Tuition Waiver: Full coverage
Stipend: $5,625 per academic year ($625 per month from September to May).
Duration: Fall 2026, January 2027, and Spring 2027; renewable for the following academic year.
Assistantship Responsibilities
The Graduate Assistant will support the Head Coach in the planning, organization, and assessment of all aspects of a competitive intercollegiate tennis program. This includes understanding the role of NCAA and Division III athletics in the educational framework and assisting in recruiting student-athletes who exemplify the values and quality of Elmhurst University.

Offers are conditional upon acceptance into one of the specified graduate programs. Graduate students must maintain full-time enrollment to retain their assistantship. Adherence to the rules and regulations of Elmhurst University, the CCIW, and the NCAA is essential. Any violations of NCAA regulations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination.
