Elmhurst University invites applications for a graduate assistantship in the Women's Soccer program for the academic years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. This opportunity is reserved for current students interested in advancing their education while gaining practical experience in collegiate athletics. Interested candidates must first apply for admission to a qualifying graduate program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies and secure acceptance to be eligible for this position.
Graduate assistants may receive a full tuition waiver in exchange for 20 hours of work per week, along with a bi-weekly stipend to support their educational pursuits. Responsibilities will take place primarily during the Fall and Spring semesters, with possible involvement in January and Summer terms.
Eligible Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, M. A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Weekly Commitment: 20 hours
Tuition Coverage: Full tuition waiver
Annual Stipend: $5,625 ($625 monthly from September to May)
Duration: Initial term in Fall 2026, with potential continuation through January 2027 and Spring 2027; renewable for 2027-2028.
Assistantship Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in developing, organizing, and assessing all components of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s soccer program. This role involves understanding the significance of NCAA regulations and supporting the recruitment of student-athletes who embody the values and standards of Elmhurst University.
Important Notes
Offers for this role are contingent upon acceptance into a designated graduate program at Elmhurst University. Graduate students must maintain full-time enrollment to retain their assistantship. Additionally, graduate assistants in the athletic department are expected to adhere strictly to the rules and guidelines set forth by Elmhurst University, the CCIW, and the NCAA.
