Exciting Opportunity for a Groundworks Buyer
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our esteemed client, a leading groundworks contractor based in Manchester, as a Buyer. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established team and contribute to significant projects across the North West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient procedures and systems for internal ordering of materials and goods from various sites.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement and environmental legislation, focusing on sustainable sourcing and adherence to COSHH regulations.
- Input internal orders for materials and goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the receipt of goods into the financial system, including the creation of purchase orders, allocation of internal sales orders, stock receipt, adjustments, and processing credit notes.
- Provide procurement support to site teams by identifying available materials and goods in the market that align with site requirements and cost control best practices.
