About the role

Angi is seeking a Head of Global Payroll to spearhead and expand our payroll operations domestically and internationally. This prominent leadership position within the Accounting department is crucial for guaranteeing precise, compliant, and efficient payroll for a diverse, complex workforce across various compensation structures and jurisdictions.

You will manage payroll operations for around 1,600 employees in the U. S. and Canada, which includes a substantial number of hourly employees earning commissions, overtime, and other variable compensation. Additionally, you will oversee payroll functions in France, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands through external providers.

In addition to operational excellence, this role will significantly contribute to the monthly closing process and uphold robust payroll controls in a publicly traded company environment. You will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, HR Benefits, and HRIS while leading a payroll team dedicated to delivering accurate and timely payroll at scale.

We are in search of an individual who merges extensive payroll knowledge with operational leadership, capable of navigating intricate payroll frameworks, leading a team, and serving as Angi's primary expert for all payroll-related inquiries.

Though this position is remote, we are a global company and prefer candidates located within the eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.
