The Senior Manager, Trade Compliance - EMEA will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing trade operations across the EMEA region. This position is essential for ensuring product availability, minimizing revenue loss, and aligning with corporate goals while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. The selected candidate will develop and manage effective trade-monitoring and supply-optimization frameworks, uphold compliance with internal policies, and serve as a crucial link among supply chain, commercial teams, and regional stakeholders. Utilizing advanced analytics, governance, and collaborative efforts, this role will foster transparency, mitigate risks, and drive ongoing improvements throughout the supply network.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and enhance trade flows across EMEA, detecting parallel trade, grey-channel movements, and potential diversion risks through dashboards, analytics, and KPIs.Develop and refine trade-monitoring systems, establishing metrics, alerts, investigation protocols, and corrective action processes.Oversee the Supply Management Optimization (SMO) process, ensuring monthly sales allocations are maintained by country, product, and customer.Address blocked sales and allocation exceptions through data validation, root-cause analysis, and close collaboration with supply chain and market teams.Manage parallel import (PI) notifications, ensuring adherence to standardized processes, governance, audit trails, and compliance with EU legislation.Act as a central liaison between supply chain, finance, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of supply optimization strategies.Collaborate with commercial and market teams to provide insights on channel dynamics and trade risks, supporting product launches, pricing, and packaging decisions.Aggregate SMO, PI, and supply-chain KPIs into comprehensive dashboards and executive reports, delivering critical insights to senior leadership.Lead continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging digital tools, advanced analytics, and process optimization to enhance cost-efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve transparency.
