About the Role

We are seeking a Head of People to spearhead and develop our People function as Sona embarks on its next growth phase. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and VP of People, this role is ideal for someone eager to take ownership of the entire People domain, from collaborating with senior leaders to crafting frameworks and processes that enable our globally distributed team of 150+ members to excel.

On a daily basis, you will serve as the primary partner for managers facing performance discussions, probationary evaluations, and challenging personnel decisions. Your responsibilities will also encompass driving strategic initiatives such as performance management, learning and development, and implementing systems that nurture a high-performance culture. You will oversee our People Ops Manager, refining the operational aspects of the team while concentrating on areas where Sona requires the most support: strategic insight, stakeholder engagement, and building innovative solutions.
