Role overview
The Head of Product will set the product vision for an expanding AI platform that spans accounts receivable, accounts payable, and analytics. This hybrid role requires cross-functional leadership and deep technical expertise. Responsibilities include shaping product strategy, mentoring the Product Management team, and guiding the integration of data, AI, and payments into a seamless user experience. The position is open to candidates eligible to work in New York or Toronto.
What you will do
- Lead the product roadmap for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and analytics, identifying connections and addressing pain points for both customers and engineering teams.
- Manage and develop product managers and designers, overseeing product design across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to improve Product Requirement Documents and maintain technical rigor, bridging product and engineering as needed.
- Define and own the future product vision by combining market insights, customer feedback, and company strategy into a clear roadmap.
- Integrate AI thoughtfully across the product suite, focusing on delivering real value for partners.
- Establish and implement best practices for product operations, including discovery, prioritization, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of product management experience, with a strong background in financial technology (payments, lending, or similar fields).
- Proven ability to lead product strategy and execution, with a focus on customer impact and understanding market trends.
- Excellent communication skills and experience fostering collaboration across teams.
- Genuine interest in technology and a drive to innovate in financial services.
