We are on the lookout for a talented Head of Sales to elevate our global sales operations.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to spearhead scalable revenue generation, oversee sales execution, and enhance team performance across multiple regions, with a special emphasis on the US market. This pivotal senior player-manager position is ideal for a seasoned enterprise sales expert eager to establish formal sales operations, elevate execution standards, and build a sustainable revenue-generating function.
This role encompasses direct selling, team leadership, and rigorous operational management. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate forecasts, maintaining pipeline integrity, improving win rates, and adhering stringently to sales best practices. You will closely collaborate with our B2B leadership team to align methodologies, tools, and skill development with field performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust sales background and a desire to advance within a high-growth startup environment. With an analytical approach and a data-driven mindset, you will be adept at transforming insights into actionable strategies that deliver team results.
This position requires a high level of collaboration; you will work closely with various teams including Product, Finance, RevOps, and Content.
Core Responsibilities:
Revenue Ownership & Forecasting
- Own a personal enterprise sales quota with a primary focus on the US market.
- Be fully accountable for the global sales team's revenue targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts through clearly defined pipeline stages, confidence levels, and closing strategies.
- Maintain stringent oversight of commit, best case, and pipeline coverage ratios.
Enterprise Sales Execution & Development
- Lead intricate, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes from initial qualification to closure.
- Implement disciplined deal strategies encompassing mutual action plans, alignment with economic buyers, and value communication.
- Enhance late-stage conversion rates and minimize deal slippage through thorough inspection and coaching.
- Train, support, and mentor our sales team to achieve excellence in enterprise sales execution.
