The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Trading to spearhead and refine Seccl’s trading capabilities as we expand. Trading is a vital component of our platform, enhancing the experience for both our clients and the investors they support. Currently, we utilize an outsourced execution model, but we are in the process of developing a next-generation trading infrastructure with a direct market approach aimed at reducing costs, enhancing control, and significantly improving client satisfaction.
In this role, you will oversee the performance, governance, and development of trading operations. You will manage daily trading activities while also playing a key role in implementing our new brokerage model and defining the future trading architecture across our platform.
This is a unique opportunity to design and lead a modern trading capability within a rapidly growing investment platform.
Your Typical Day Will Involve:
Managing the comprehensive trading capabilities at Seccl, ensuring that execution, settlement, and post-trade processes function smoothly, efficiently, and with robust operational oversight.
Collaborating with the trading operations team to establish clear performance standards, enhance operational resilience, manage incidents, and pursue continuous improvement.
