The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is actively seeking a Health Economist to engage in policy-driven research and evaluation studies that focus on various domestic healthcare programs. Key topics include Medicare, Medicaid, innovative care and payment models, rural healthcare, aging and long-term care, health plan quality measurement, telehealth advancements, and health information technology.
As part of AIR's Healthcare Innovations Team, you will contribute to high-quality implementation efforts and generate robust evidence regarding the effectiveness of new care and payment approaches. Your insights will help inform policymakers, payers, providers, and patients, translating research findings into actionable recommendations.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States or from one of AIR's U. S. office locations. Please note that this does not extend to U. S. territories.
