Position Highlights:

  • Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
  • Location: This role will be based in Littleton, CO, 80122
  • Thrives in a high-volume production setting.
  • Handles medical record requests by communicating with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide up-to-date medical information.
  • Documents information across multiple platforms using dual computer monitors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
  • Maintain proficiency in company and facility software applications.
  • Adhere to the company's and customer facilities' Code of Conduct and operational policies.
  • Communicate with management regarding work challenges, site issues, and workload fluctuations.
  • Support additional tasks or responsibilities as needed.
  • Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
  • Oversee the management of patient health records.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for protecting patient records.
  • Prepare new patient charts, compiling documents and information from both paper and electronic health records.
  • Ensure that medical records are accurately assembled and complete.
  • Create digital images of documents for storage in the electronic medical record system.
