QualificationsFluency in English at a native level. Strong communication skills in Hebrew, both written and verbal. In-depth cultural understanding of both Hebrew and English. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to handle various assignments and use appropriate skills and tools for each task (e.g., accuracy, creativity, and terminology precision). Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and a results-oriented mindset. Capability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, including a translation certificate. Successful completion of the Internal Linguistic testing as per TransPerfect's TLC program. Previous experience in translation, proofreading, or copywriting, especially in life sciences, is a plus.

TransPerfect is looking for a Hebrew to English Translator to join its in-house team in Manchester. The role centers on producing precise translations for a variety of documents, with an emphasis on meeting both project priorities and subject matter requirements. Managing translation tasks and adapting to shifting project needs are key parts of this position.
Main responsibilities
- Deliver translations that meet TransPerfect’s quality standards and client expectations.
- Complete all required training for Associate Linguists, including certifications related to your area of expertise, technology platforms, and internal production and quality assurance procedures.
- Use company tools such as Confluence and Launchpad to carry out translation assignments.
- Follow detailed project instructions, reference materials, and language resources like translation memories and glossaries.
- Apply both internal and client-specific procedures throughout each stage of the translation process.
- Collaborate with a Team Lead or senior colleague for guidance and oversight.
- Meet quality and efficiency goals set by your supervisor.
- Perform other translation-related duties as assigned by your manager.
