The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) serves as the essential point of contact for customers, driving sales demand by implementing marketing strategies and advocating for Sobi's innovative products under the guidance of the Regional Sales Director. In this pivotal role, the CAM possesses extensive clinical knowledge regarding Sobi’s offerings and articulates the on-label clinical advantages effectively. As a sales leader, the CAM is tasked with achieving sales objectives within their territory through the execution of a structured Plan of Action (POA), which includes delivering impactful branded messages to healthcare professionals, representing Sobi at local events, and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
*Please note this is a remote position, but candidates must reside within the San Antonio territory.
- Actively promotes Sobi’s products and services to a designated customer base, driving sales growth and consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals in a specific geographic area while adhering to all Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of Sobi and competing products within their therapeutic area, along with deep knowledge of associated disease states.
- Develops and executes a territory business plan that addresses customer needs and aligns with sales targets, conducting weekly analyses of sales data to prioritize physician engagement and ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintains strict compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies, state and federal laws.
- Creates budget plans for customer engagements, local symposia, and other external expenditures.
- Identifies and communicates potential issues and opportunities proactively to sales and marketing leadership.
- Reports adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department in accordance with guidelines.
- Performs all necessary administrative functions including timely reporting of call activities and customer interactions in the appropriate systems, as well as managing expense submissions.
