Role Overview
The HGV Technical Administrator role demands a robust background in administration and technical truck maintenance, complemented by outstanding IT and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, capable of juggling multiple tasks under pressure, and able to work independently while demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities. A Class B driving license is required. Key responsibilities include managing driver defect reports, generating purchase orders, scheduling repairs, liaising with the driver management team, preparing reports, pinpointing process enhancements, assisting with subcontractor repairs, handling phone communications, and coordinating NVD materials.

Qualifications

- Technical background in truck maintenance is essential.
- Excellent IT skills are mandatory; familiarity with Assetminder/Sage systems is a plus, but not required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail is necessary.
- Ability to effectively multitask and thrive under tight deadlines is essential.
- Capability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Full clean Class B driving license is required.
