This Role
The HGV Driver position in Västerås, Sweden, is designed to achieve the following objectives:
- Collect and deliver products according to established schedules.
- Provide daily updates to the Operations Manager.
- Complete all necessary digital and manual documentation in compliance with company and client protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, making amendments as necessary.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is upheld at all times.
- Act professionally and courteously with both clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to all regulations regarding performance standards and staff uniform.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, promptly notifying of any changes.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles, reporting any issues immediately.
- Manage multiple customer and supplier requests for both domestic and international deliveries.
- Ensure accuracy in all documentation related to warehouse, haulage, distribution, and shipping.
- Carry out general administrative tasks daily.
- Comply with all tachograph regulations as amended.
- Perform any additional duties assigned as necessary.
