Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and draft responses for various post-conviction motions.
- Prepare memorandums addressing legal questions for direct appeals and pretrial motions in Federal Court.
- Review and process a diverse array of complex legal documents, ensuring compliance with formatting rules.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks and compiling witness lists.
- Utilize both original and online legal resources to verify citations and ensure accuracy.
- Compose original letters requiring knowledge of legal procedures without needing legal interpretation.
- Generate various written documents using a range of office software applications.
