Lightspeed is seeking an Account Manager to join the APAC Hospitality Sales team in Sydney, New South Wales. This role centers on managing inbound sales for hospitality venues throughout the APAC region. The Account Manager partners with merchants to understand their business needs, nurture strong relationships, and ensure they receive solutions that align with their goals.
Main responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for hospitality customers, answering questions about Lightspeed products and services.
- Assess customer requirements and suggest solutions that support their business objectives.
- Build trust and rapport with merchants, using active listening to identify upsell opportunities and support account growth.
- Guide customers as they transition from basic platforms to more advanced solutions.
- Showcase software features, including the core POS system and additional modules or upgrades.
- Manage upselling from inbound sales and contribute to the growth of monthly recurring revenue.
Additional responsibilities
- Encourage retailer advocacy and help strengthen hospitality owners' understanding within the organization.
- Work with colleagues to achieve team goals, occasionally taking on tasks beyond standard duties.
