About Cartesia

At Cartesia, our vision is to revolutionize the landscape of artificial intelligence by creating interactive intelligence that is omnipresent and adaptable. We aim to overcome current limitations in processing vast streams of audio, video, and text data with our pioneering model architectures.

Founded by PhD alumni from the Stanford AI Lab, we developed State Space Models (SSMs) as a breakthrough in training large-scale foundational models. Our dedicated team excels in model innovation, systems engineering, and product design, ensuring the delivery of advanced models and user experiences.

Supported by top-tier investors such as Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, alongside numerous industry experts and advisors, we are poised for significant growth and impact in the AI sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to lay the groundwork for our employee programs as Cartesia expands. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to influence the employee experience at a rapidly growing Series A AI startup. You will work closely with leadership to define and implement outstanding people operations practices.

In this capacity, you will manage various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, organizational design, talent development, and learning initiatives. You'll have the freedom to create scalable systems and processes while fostering a culture that upholds Cartesia's core values.

Your Impact

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding organizational wellness, team dynamics, and strategic people initiatives.

  • Provide confidential support to employees throughout their entire lifecycle, from onboarding to career development and offboarding.

  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure talent strategies align with long-term business objectives.

  • Establish performance management systems and development programs that facilitate employee growth.

  • Oversee compensation planning and strategy, including benchmarking, equity, and promotion cycles.

  • Create and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing our internal company culture.

About Cartesia
