About the Role
TechFlow, through its subsidiary EMI Services, is seeking an HVAC Manager to join the team at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland. This position works closely with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and United States Government representatives. The HVAC Manager builds and maintains professional relationships with government contacts, subcontractors, and facility tenants, while directly supervising HVAC shop staff.
What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for HVAC systems across the facility.
- Assign work, set priorities, and schedule tasks for HVAC team members.
- Assess employee performance by reviewing completed assignments.
- Identify and procure materials, equipment, and supplies needed for operations.
- Reallocate personnel and equipment between projects as necessary.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and maintaining procurement records.
- Provide or arrange training in safety and maintenance procedures.
- Support quality control inspections and safety programs for all facilities and equipment.
- Conduct monthly inspections of vehicle mileage and safety.
- Identify and address training and development needs for staff.
- Ensure OSHA compliance for employee safety.
- Review and approve procurement documents for spare and replacement parts.

Compensation
Salary is to be determined based on experience. Employer-paid insurance is included.
