ResponsibilitiesArticulate immigration concepts and propose strategic solutions. Advocate for non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Oversee a diverse caseload. Conduct intake meetings with detained individuals at various facilities. Draft a variety of immigration applications, including removal defenses and family-based petitions. Review immigration applications and packets, making necessary revisions. Engage with law enforcement and community organizations to discuss changes in immigration law. Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to formulate effective immigration strategies. Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony. Provide legal analysis to clients regarding potential case benefits. Draft and file legal briefs for a wide range of immigration cases. Qualifications1-5 years of experience in Immigration Law. A collaborative team player who is eager to assist, strategize, and work with fellow associates. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proven track record of progressing legal cases and effectively managing a caseload. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian applications, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Familiarity with case management software is preferred.
