We are actively seeking a skilled Independent Accountant to become part of our newly formed European trading hub, which specializes in the distribution of low voltage cables and electrotechnical products.
This position will involve daily accounting operations, document management, and guaranteeing the accuracy of financial records. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with an external accounting partner and various manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and validate purchase and sales invoices according to internal procedures and accounting standards.
- Support the accounting for both domestic and international trade transactions, including imports, intra-Community acquisitions, and exports.
- Prepare accounting data and documentation for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile receivables, payables, and selected balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting documents, including transport, customs, and warehouse-related paperwork.
- Assist in the settlement of rebates, credit notes, transport costs, customs duties, and other transaction-related charges.
- Work closely with an external accounting partner responsible for statutory accounting and tax compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and trade finance to ensure accurate document flow and financial information.
- Maintain proper archiving and circulation of accounting and operational documents.
- Support the preparation of reports by providing accurate and timely accounting data.
