Key Responsibilities:Examine and evaluate RMF authorization packages and associated documentation, including:System Security Plan (SSP)Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM)Continuous Monitoring PlanIncident Response PlanAccess Control PlanSecurity Assessment Plan, and additional related artifactsAssess new and existing systems for technical compliance with IA directives, ensuring the protection of classified data (up to SCI). Provide guidance on detailed security design reviews, threat assessments, and risk evaluations. Contribute to technical documentation, including POA&Ms, SCTMs, and Risk Assessment Reports (RARs). Conduct site visits and security assessments to evaluate security control implementations.

Accenture Federal Services is on the lookout for an adept Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Arlington, VA team. In this pivotal role, you will support cybersecurity authorization and assessment activities for classified information systems, adhering to the Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will collaborate with a specialized team to review and validate RMF authorization documentation, conduct technical compliance assessments, evaluate security control implementations, and assist in incident response efforts. Your expertise will ensure that systems comply with federal Information Assurance (IA) directives, secure data across all classification levels (including Sensitive Compartmented Information), and align with necessary security design, control, and documentation standards. The ISSE will also play a crucial role in developing key RMF artifacts such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Risk Assessment Reports (RARs), and ongoing monitoring documentation.
