The Information Technology Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning IT strategies with business objectives, ensuring optimal utilization of technology resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Managing Director, overseeing the entire IT function to maximize the return on IT investments.
- Manage the organization's IT infrastructure and computer systems, while planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
- Lead the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local area networks, including hardware, software, telecommunications, and internet services.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate effective systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems while preserving assets and implementing control structures.
- Handle the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all operations.
- Establish, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery plans.
- Communicate the IT vision and strategy clearly across the organization.
- Develop Service Level Agreements for service providers, set performance targets for IT personnel, and assist in selecting IT service providers.
