Summary

The Infrastructure License & Contract Manager plays a pivotal role in managing all contracts and licenses associated with physical IT assets, data center hosting, infrastructure/platform services (PaaS/IaaS), and telecommunication and network infrastructure. This position is integral to ensuring that all contracts are tailored to meet business, technical, and financial requirements, are regularly reviewed, and are in alignment with evolving company needs. By coordinating with stakeholders and managing the complete lifecycle of hardware, infrastructure, and telecom agreements, this role contributes to operational stability, cost efficiency, and long-term value across Continental's infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong self-management skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and strategic stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

· Manage the complete contract lifecycle: Customize, review, monitor, amend, and renew contracts for hardware, infrastructure services, and telecommunications.

· Facilitate Purchasing Preparation: Provide all necessary and compliant contract documentation to NPM IT Purchasing to enable formal negotiation and signing.

· Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure the involvement of experts from IT, Legal, Finance, Security, and Procurement; serve as the central communication point for contract-related matters.

· Maintain Quality & Consistency: Uphold a high standard of contract quality across Continental by ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with internal requirements.

· Align Hardware Lifecycle: Ensure contract terms facilitate procurement, maintenance, replacement, and disposal cycles for physical IT assets. Track renewal and cancellation terms for timely decisions regarding data center hosting, infrastructure/platform services (PaaS/IaaS), and telecommunication and network infrastructure.

· Manage Risks & Issues: Identify contractual risks, support mitigation strategies, and address contract-related issues or disputes with suppliers.

· Oversee Financial Aspects: Track renewals, pricing conditions, indexation, and cost drivers; assist in TCO assessments and identify optimization opportunities.

· Monitor Supplier Performance: Oversee supplier performance against contractual obligations and SLAs; follow up on deviations and support remediation efforts.

· Drive Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and adapt existing contracts to align with evolving business needs, ensuring ongoing relevance and effectiveness.

· Operate as License Manager: Maintain accurate license records and manage license keys. Monitor data quality for license types and usage.

· Finance Process Management: Plan and budget for the IT License Management Portfolio, collaborating with leadership to ensure regular updates.

· Support the Purchasing Process: Provide consultancy on license models and optimization strategies.
