Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the high levels of availability, performance, and security that our clients expect and depend upon.This position presents an incredible opportunity to gain diverse experience across various technologies, tackle intriguing challenges, implement improvements, and be recognized for your contributions.Key Responsibilities - DeploymentCollaborate with co-location partners to design optimal cage, rack, and server configurations, ensuring adequate space, power, and cooling for current and future solutions.Work alongside engineering and architecture teams to design solutions that maximize performance, efficiency, and operability of hosted services.Lead or participate in the provisioning and deployment of servers, networks, and other hosting-related equipment, including hands-on building and configuration as needed.Engage in the deployment of new applications and changes, ensuring all service components are properly documented, monitored, and integrated into the company’s operational processes.Conduct hardware qualification testing on new platforms and certify them for production.Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle to ensure pre-operational sign-offs are obtained, ensuring solutions meet or exceed performance metrics such as security, availability, and response times.Assist in troubleshooting integration issues.Consult with technical stakeholders, including customers, on the delivery of hosted solutions.Key Responsibilities - OperationsAdminister and maintain hosted solutions and related infrastructure (firewalls, switches, servers, storage, etc.), proactively identifying and resolving potential incidents, as well as managing backups.Contribute to the definition, documentation, operation, and continuous improvement of operational processes, such as ITIL-based incident, change, problem, and configuration management, ensuring seamless integration with broader company systems.Define, implement, monitor, and report on metrics essential for delivering highly available hosted services, while catering to the needs of management, engineering, customer services, and our clients.
