Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline. This role emphasizes leading validation and testing activities for interior systems at both the component and vehicle levels, ensuring compliance with all safety, performance, and quality standards. You will serve as the primary liaison among engineering teams, suppliers, and external testing laboratories to guarantee on-time and budget-compliant validation activities that meet program specifications. The Interior Validation Engineer will define, manage, and implement validation plans (DVP&R), support testing initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation, issue resolution, and system integration throughout the product development lifecycle. This is a highly collaborative role requiring exceptional organizational and coordination abilities, as well as the capability to manage multiple validation tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proven experience in automotive interior validation and testing is essential. Experience collaborating with suppliers and external laboratories is highly desirable.
