Role of Interview Engineers:
As an Interview Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct technical interviews with software developers globally. You will play a vital role in establishing inclusive hiring practices by reducing bias, enhancing hiring signals, and performing objective evaluations. These competencies are essential for hiring and managing teams in both startups and large corporations. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Interviews , Guide interviews through Karat's platform, ensuring an enjoyable candidate experience while assessing their fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge.
- Evaluating Candidates , Provide valuable feedback on candidates' performance, coding styles, communication skills, and problem-solving approaches.
- Collaborating , Work together with Karat to evaluate content, processes, and products.
Your Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
- Strong English communication skills (both written and oral) with a high degree of professionalism and interpersonal ability.
- Consistent access to a functional webcam, microphone, and reliable Internet connection.
- Experience in conducting technical interviews is preferred (e.g., knowledge of data structures and algorithms).
