About the Role

The Inventory Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This position involves meticulously processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, verifying product quality, and ensuring that all documentation for orders is accurate. This role demands keen attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with the production team to fulfill customer expectations and meet production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping:

  • Safely package and wrap products to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ensure the accuracy of shipping paperwork using ERP systems to verify correct quantities and parts.
  • Create accurate bills of lading and maintain well-organized shipping documentation.
  • Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas.
  • Conduct quality inspections of products and packaging before shipment.
  • Stretch wrap and prepare pallets for delivery.
  • Track critical daily shipping items and update the production team on their status.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials and equipment within the warehouse.
  • Manage recycling of materials as necessary, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.

Receiving:

  • Process all inbound shipments, verifying counts and quality against documentation.
  • Deliver in-process materials or parts to production areas as required.
  • Perform visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data records.

Material Handling and Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stock management as required.
