Role Overview: iOS Software Engineer
This iOS Software Engineer position is based in Indonesia and focuses on building and improving mobile applications for The Economist Group. The work directly supports economist.com and helps engage and retain over 1.2 million subscribers worldwide. The role involves developing new features, maintaining high code quality, and contributing to products that serve leaders across industries.
What You Will Do
- Develop and enhance native iOS applications for The Economist Group
- Work closely with experienced engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused features
- Support ongoing improvements to the flagship app and website
- Maintain high standards for code quality and technical excellence
How You Will Work
- Collaborate in a remote-first environment
- Exercise autonomy and creativity in your approach to problem-solving
- Option to work in the office at least two days per month if preferred
- Engage in continual learning and skill development in iOS engineering
