About the job
Fuse Energy is an innovative renewable energy startup dedicated to rapidly delivering a terawatt of renewable energy. By leveraging first-principles thinking and advanced technology, we are on a mission to create a significantly improved energy system. Our company has successfully secured $170M in funding from leading investors, including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group, and notable angels like Nico Rosberg, co-founder of Solana, along with general partners behind industry giants such as Meta, Revolut, Spotify, and Uber.
We are constructing a fully integrated energy enterprise that encompasses the development of solar, wind, and hydrogen projects, real-time power trading, and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we eliminate middlemen, reduce costs, and pass savings on to our customers.
Moreover, we are building the Energy Network: a decentralized platform of smart devices that rewards users with Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and assisting in grid balancing. This network enhances grid stability, which is essential for scaling AI data centers and other energy-intensive sectors.
We are currently seeking an IoT Engineer to design, build, and scale the connected hardware that powers the Energy Network. This hands-on position involves working with embedded systems, networking, device security, and fleet connectivity from prototype to deployment. You will contribute to creating resilient connectivity, secure provisioning, and robust telemetry across our expanding fleet of distributed energy devices.
As an IoT Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping how our devices connect, communicate, and evolve securely at scale, collaborating closely with firmware, hardware, and backend teams to deliver production-ready systems.
