Qualifications & Experience:Hands-on experience in a technician or support specialist role. Experience working at live events. Ability to thrive under pressure. Customer-focused approach to resolving issues efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Energetic, results-driven, and innovative work ethic. A valid Full Australian driver’s license. Desirable Skills:Familiarity with ticketing systems. Experience with Windows 10/11 and Server 2016 or later. Understanding of Microsoft SQL 2017 or later. Demonstrated Cisco networking experience.

About the Role

As the IT Events Administrator based in Brisbane, you will be at the forefront of the action, providing essential IT support at some of Australia’s most exciting events. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in dynamic IT environments.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering top-notch on-site IT support at Ticketek events to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Installing point-of-sale systems (PCs, BOCA printers, EFTPOS) at various venues and events.
  • Managing ticketing IT infrastructure and access control systems at client locations.
  • Coordinating the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, such as servers and switches.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on client equipment and infrastructure.
  • Documenting network or device configuration changes accurately.
  • Responding to IT support calls and meticulously recording fault resolutions in our service desk system.
