About the Position
Forget the mundane tasks of traditional internships; this is a dynamic role. We will train you as though you are joining our full-time IT Operations Engineering team, responsible for the support, configuration, and operation of various systems across our technology stacks, which include desktop engineering, networking, and numerous application platforms. You will engage hands-on in enhancing our office environment by responding to tech support requests, setting up and configuring Windows and Linux devices, maintaining our Windows domain infrastructure, monitoring systems, and assisting in projects aimed at optimizing our workflows using tools like PowerShell.
Our IT interns are approachable and cooperative problem-solvers who take pleasure in assisting others. They can troubleshoot effectively in real-time, interact with end users confidently, and are comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. This internship serves as an excellent introduction to Jane Street and our collaborative approach to problem-solving across all teams. Many successful interns have received invitations to join us full-time after graduation.
